Yesterday's Trades

It was a slow day for me yesterday, not really at the fault of the market but because I was not able to be around the computer much. I managed to snag a ZLR trade off the hourly chart on cable.

Short CABLE @ 1.7532 TP @ 1.7465 +68

So 68 pips for the day. On a side note you can now access my blog via http://www.thedingo.net instead of that lame blogspot address. Cheers.

Monday's Downtime Trades

I was fortunate enough to have a lot of downtime in my mission, which allowed me to make some demo trades on Woodie's CCI today. Had some big movers just a few hours into the London session. Still moving in fact as I type this, but I've since closed my open trades. Trades were as follows:

Short EURO @ 1.2132 TP @ 1.2085 +47
Short CABLE @ 1.7586 TP @ 1.7550 +36
+83 For the day

My trades were based off Woodie's CCI patterns. The Euro trade was made off a zero line reject, following quickly thereafter with the LSMA trend downward. The Cable trade was made on a reverse divergence patter that occured shortly after a sharp zero line reject. Exits on both trades were made on a hook from extremes signal. Good day, but I took my profits a bit early because I couldn't stay and watch my trades. Also, it was a very strong trending day today, so most any system would have done well. I hope the rest of you made some good pips today. If possible I'll try and get some charts up with my trade posts, but my internet connection here is rough as it is. I'm lucky to be able to demo trade once in a while. Oh well, 3 months till live trades.

Leonardo Da Vinci

Interesting link I found over at Slashdot today. Apparently The British Library has made 14 very old books available for free via their website. One such book is a notebook containing the writings and drawings of Leonardo Da Vinci. The notebook itself apparently dates back to 1509. Very interesting stuff. Well I found it interesting anyways. Wish it were downloadable in some way though. It's definitely an eBook I'd like to have in my collection. Anyways, with how lame a week it was I know everyone is looking forward to some good trades starting Monday. Good luck.

Still kicking!

I know I know, holy crap dingo made an update. Sorry for the complete lack of activity here lately. Still in Iraq and still busy, but wrapping up my final 90 days or so here. Been spending most of my time learning a few strategies, primarily Woodie's CCI. Which is so far an awesome system for any market. I think I'm particularly impressed with it's ability to stand the test of time. So many strategies perform outstanding for a few months, and then the market adapts and throws a monkey wrench in your whole program. Also been doing some scalping using Gimme bars and some position trading via the Tunnel method. It's been quite a learning experience these past few months. I do apologize for the lack of update sonce again, just want you all to know I'm still alive and still trading. I follow most the other popular blogs fairly regularly and I'm glad to see most of you are still making good pips. Oh and sorry about the blog links, I made a template change and lost them, but they'll be back up in a day or two. More to come here, so stay tuned...

A little dingo love from the image...
